HUN PRT Inaugurates New School Building

Dr. Romulusz Ruszin, the commander of the 11th rotation of the HDF Provincial Reconstruction Team (HUN PRT-11) handed over a new school building in a scenic countryside of Baghlan Province, Afghanistan. The inauguration ceremony of the newly built, five-class school building with lightweight structure took place in the area of responsibility of Liaison Team 3 (LT-3) at Pansheri, Jelga District.
In his speech, the governor said thanks for this new act of help, pointing out that the HUN PRT is the only organization which provides continuous assistance for the district. He said that the local people like the Hungarians because they can see that these troops are here to help them. The governor expressed hope that the cooperation will continue into the future.
In addressing the audience, Col. Romulusz Ruszin said that the HUN PRT’s goals include the furthering of education and the development of good relationships with the local people in every district of the province. He added he was certain that the PRT’s contribution in the form of this school building will help raise the standards of education in the district.
The ceremony closed with cutting the ribbon and a tour of the building.
