The ceremonial staff meeting was attended by Col. Vilmos Nosza, the outgoing chief of staff at NATO HQ Sarajevo, and Col. Ferenc Könczöl, who recently assumed the chief of staff position at the headquarters, having commenced his tour of duty in Bosnia-Herzegovina one day earlier. Also present at the event was EUFOR HQ Command Sergeant Major WO1 Lajos Soós.
Following a speech delivered by Lt. Dániel Szabó, the ceremony continued with reading out personnel orders. It was announced that Lt. Tamás Bencsik, the finance section chief of the HDF EUFOR Contingent – who serves with the HDF 43rd Nagysándor József Signal and Command Support Regiment in Hungary – has been promoted to first lieutenant as of 20 August.
