Information Gathering for the Military and Political Leaders of ISAF

Dr. Catherine Dale’s visit was aimed at gathering information about the activity of the PRT in the province, the participants of the ongoing international cooperation in the camp, the results of the joint work and the opinions about the province, so that she can report them to the senior political and military leaders of ISAF.
After the mutual introductions and a briefing on the program schedule, the October 16 meeting continued with a joint visit made by Catherine Dale and Col. Antal Sipos to Mohammad Sultan Ebadi, the governor of the province. Several high-ranking provincial and military leaders participated in the discussion, where the governor and his staff gave a comprehensive picture of the current situation, including the fields of security, governance and development while also touching on the current problems and experiences.
The same day the US security expert participated in a consultation held by the command of the HDF Provincial Reconstruction Team and the international cooperating partners, and was informed in detail about the work of the HUN PRT-13.
