International Inspection Team Extends Its Mandate in Ukraine
Szöveg: Ministry of Defence | 2014. március 19. 16:00The inspection team of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Participating States remained in Kiev until the end of the referendum in the Crimea on Sunday, March 16.
The members of the international inspection team discussed the details of their further activities with the Ukrainian partners in the evening of Sunday, around 9.00 pm. CET.
Already more than half of the countries participating in the mission have voted for the extension of the mandate, so in case of another Ukrainian request, the extended mandate of the contingent now runs until March 20 instead of March 16.
The military observers are expected to continue performing their duties as arms control inspectors in the eastern areas of Ukraine.
