Medal Parade for the Hungarian LMT
Szöveg: Lt. Grácia Korom | 2013. augusztus 14. 9:36Col. Mikael Cristoffersson, the commander of the Joint Regional Detachment Centre (JRD-C) recently awarded medals to the members of the Hungarian Liaison Monitoring Team (LMT) deployed in Kosovo.
The colonel thanked the outgoing personnel for their work, and expressed hope that the rotation would execute the assigned tasks by the same high standards.
He pointed out that the tour of duty period of the new team would include the merge of the JRD-C and the JRD-W (Joint Regional Detachment West) – the regional-level international units in command of the LMTs – and the rotation the Swedish contingent, so their work will receive special attention, like that of the LMTs of other nations. He said he had every confidence in the professionalism of the incoming
personnel.
Col. Cristoffersson is the commander of the last Swedish contingent, so after he leaves, Italy will probably take the lead nation role in the restructured JRD-C.
