The military show BAHNA recently took place for the 26th time in the Czech Republic. The domestic and foreign visitors of the event were introduced, among others, to the skills of the soldiers of the Czech Army.

The event developed from the meetings of vehicle collectors and military re-enactors, who initially gathered to entertain themselves and see their invaluable relics. Later on, sensing a good opportunity, the Army of the Czech Republic joined the organizers, which marked the beginning of an annual program that is unique in Central Europe. The dimensions of this year’s show are well characterized by the fact that the march of vehicles in the morning lasted almost two hours, and there were no two military vehicles of the same type to be seen. The huge convoy was headed by WWII era types, and its main body kept the chronological order, so in its trail there were several state-of-the-art Czech, Polish and Slovak combat vehicles.

The march was followed by a perfectly organized program with no slack time. The audience saw a WWI air battle with lavish choreography, a capability display of the Czech police and a captivating show by the Czech armed forces.
