Military Experts May Go to Syria
Szöveg: Gábor Kálmánfi | 2013. szeptember 19. 9:00Hungary is willing to send military CBRN experts to Syria to help take over and destroy its chemical weapons – Minister of Defence Csaba Hende announced at Székesfehérvár on Tuesday, September 10.
Minister Hende stated that Hungary strongly condemns the August 21 chemical attack in Syria which had killed a lot of civilians. He said that this issue demands a comprehensive solution, and in this regard the international community “is heading in the same direction, although it is using different approaches".
“Were these weapons brought under international control and destroyed, the air strikes could be avoided. If this solution works, the Hungarian Defence Forces, based on their CBRN capability, are ready to send military experts to the region", the Minister said.
