Szöveg: HDF KAIA FPC | 2013. január 5. 6:00The designated personnel of the Force Protection Contingent held a “skills maintenance marksmanship training” in Camp Shooter in December.
The camp housing the range is under Canadian and British command. Some years ago the ISAF soldiers took possession of the factory unit which forms a significant part of the camp.
Simplicity, usability and accident-free execution were the priorities in establishing the range. Its equipment ensures that the personnel can perform any type of target practice specified in the marksmanship field manuals, from pistols to machine guns. Three persons can shoot simultaneously on the close to 25 meters-long range. Using properly scaled down targets is indispensable for the target practices conducted with assault rifles and machine guns.
The Hungarian soldiers executed target practice No. 1. with good results, firing pistols, (modified) assault rifles and machine guns.
