During the competition, the category “Mr. Uniform” was a focus of attention, being aimed at popularizing this branch of sport among the uniformed personnel (soldiers, policemen, firemen).
SFC Róbert Jentetics – who serves with the NATO 3rd Signal Battalion Deployable CIS Module-E (DCM-E) in Székesfehérvár – represented the Hungarian Defence Forces and the DCM-E in two categories at this international cup. He was placed first in the "men’s physique" category at the international cup “Mr. Uniform", and a silver medalist at the open international men’s physique cup.
The 38-year-old sergeant first class would like to give motivation to those soldiers who say they don’t have enough time to do sports – those soldiers, regardless of their age, who think they’re too young or too old to enter a competition.
Róbert did exercises six times a week, and went on a four-week diet which, combined with a six kilometer-run each day, has produced the long-desired result, enabling him to stand on the top of the podium.
“Never give up, and always know your goal. Have dreams and believe that, if you want, you can make your dreams come true. Every block of stone has a statue inside it, and all you have to do is to remove the excess stone."
Maj. László Dózsa, the commander of the DCM-E expressed his appreciation to his soldier. As he said, he is proud to see that even besides his duties, the sergeant first class has been able to prepare for a competition of this level.
