Students Participate in Reward Trip
Szöveg: honvedelem.hu | 2017. szeptember 2. 10:02The students closing the 2016/2017 school year with excellent results at the Kratochvil Károly Military Secondary School and Dormitory (Debrecen) had opportunity to go on a reward trip to Italy in late August, together with the officer cadets of the HDF Ludovika Battalion.
During the five-day trip, besides seeing the historic sights of the Doberdo plateau, the students took part in war grave care activities in Verona, and visited the war memorials in Monte Grappa and Asiago. The last day of the tour ended in Venice, where the local naval military school and academy received the visitors.
Gábor Berkecz, the principal of the military secondary school told us that the travel of the students was provided by the HDF Ludovika Battalion. The program offered the students a huge historical experience, and it was also important that during the trip, they were given an insight into the life of military officer cadets. The experiences and impressions they gained may play a decisive role in their choice of a military career in the future.
