The Gas Monitoring System of the Hungarian Defence Forces is Unmatched in the NATO
Szöveg: honvedelem.hu | 2014. február 3. 10:13The Hungarian Defence Forces (HDF) have a reason to take pride in the Gas Monitoring System (ÜMR) in operation for many years now, and introduced last year at the NATO Petroleum Handling Equipment Working Group (NATO PHEWG) meeting in Chalon-sur-Saone. As it turned out, there is nowhere to be found such a closed system, reliable and easily operable petroleum supply monitoring system as the one in the Hungarian Defence Forces.
The Hungarian system is unmatched in NATO
After the presentation the participants, i.e. the experts of the Member States responsible for the procurement of the Petroleum Handling Equipment, unanimously praised the complexity of the Hungarian system. They have said that this complexly usable, closed system technology has been unknown for them until now, which allows for the logistical petroleum planning on the various supply and decision-making levels.
The foreign experts taking part in the Hungarian presentation stressed that the systems used by them lag far behind the system operating at the Hungarian Defence Forces. They highly appreciated the military applicability of the construction.
The system excels not only in the predictability of the fuel quantities, but it is also able to supply the financial area with proper and authentic data, which are essential for the accounts. The company holding the presentation pointed out that keeping records of the fuels used, can be greatly accelerated and simplified by means of this during the multinational exercises, operations as well.
