Welcome Home Ceremony for Soldiers Returning from Mission
Szöveg: 1st Lt. Melinda Várkonyi Fülöpné | 2012. április 10. 13:39The Welcome Home ceremony for the soldiers of the HDF 1st Honvéd EOD and Warship Regiment returning home from the ISAF mission in Afghanistan took place at the unit on March 29.
Lt.-Col. Zsolt Szilágyi, the acting commander of the unit handed over personalized memorial coins to the EOD soldiers serving with the rotation of the HDF Provincial Reconstruction Team (HUN PRT) in recognition of their exemplary and self-sacrificing military service abroad. The recipients of the coins were Capt. Gábor Zsolnay, SFC Pál Juhász, S/Sgt. Sándor Mészáros, SFC Gábor Pető, WO Róbert Bachmann, S/Sgt. Attila Bábel, S/Sgt. Gyula Salap, Sgt. Judit Erdélyi, L/Sgt. Zsolt Gulyás and L/Sgt. Tamás Németh.
The commander of the HDF Joint Force Command awarded C-IED expert SFC Gábor Pető a token of appreciation in recognition of his outstanding work.
