Attachés’ Visit to Veszprém
Szöveg: Gábor Kálmánfi | 2011. február 18. 13:12On 17 February, as part of their annual programme of work, the military attachés accredited to Budapest visited the Hungarian Defence Forces 54th Veszprém ASACS Regiment.
As usual, the attachés’ program at Veszprém started with a presentation. Col. (Eng.) József Szűcs, the commander of the unit hosting the military attachés informed his guests about the activities and the structure of the regiment, the available technical equipment as well as Hungary’s airspace control system and its links to NATINADS.
Following the presentation, the attachés inspected some parts of the Control and Reporting Center known as the Rock, then finished their program in the Kossuth barracks by visiting the Unit History Memorial Room.
