During his tenure, the Ambassador promoted the participation of the Hungarian Defence Forces in Bosnia with all his might: he continuously drew the attention of the members of the Diplomatic Corps to the fact that Hungary is committed to the peace process in the Balkans. The embassy has always helped the Hungarian soldiers, and in return, the soldiers also tried to be valuable helpers of the diplomats.

H.E. József Négyesi in his speech highlighted: it has been a pleasure to experience that Hungary has been contributing to the EUFOR mission right from the outset, and never has any negative feedback arrived from any of the parties regarding the Hungarian engagement. In closing his address the relinquishing Ambassador wished the personnel that they can fulfil the mission with honour, health and strength, and that upon returning home, they can rediscover their place in their family, in their own unit.
