HDF JFC Commander Visits Kosovo

In mid-February, Major-General Ferenc Korom, Commander, HDF Joint Force Command paid an official visit to Hungarian soldiers serving in Kosovo.

During his visit, Maj.-Gen. Ferenc Korom met with leaders of the KFOR HQ, among others with COMKFOR Maj.-Gen. Salvatore Cuoci and COS KFOR Brig.-Gen. Lawrence Powell. As part of the program, DCOM KFOR Brig.-Gen. János Csombók gave an operational update to the delegation headed by Maj.-Gen. Korom.

In Camp Novo Selo, the members of the delegation received reports from Lt.-Col. István Varga, the commander of the 17^th rotation of the HDF KFOR Contingent (KFOR-17 HUNCON) and Camp Commander Lt.-Col. Károly Szép. They also visited the ROLE-2B Medical Treatment Facility and the ROLE-1 mobile tent complex, where they were given an insight into the patient treatment process under field conditions.
