Peacekeepers Receive ALTHEA Medals

The 11th rotation of the HDF EUFOR contingent (EUFOR-11 HUNCON) has reached a milestone. On August 27 and 28, the Hungarian peacekeepers attended the traditional medal parade, and on August 28 the ceremony marking the change of command for the EUFOR Multinational Battalion (MNBN) took place in Camp Butmir.

In the Spirit of the Olympics

The Hungarian EUFOR Contingent never gets bored. When they have no service duties, the soldiers find the ways to spend their free time usefully. The contingent marked the start of the Olympic Games by organizing its own home championship to pay tribute to the Hungarian Olympians.
