An unfortunate fact: every third Hungarian is allergic, which means that more than 3 million people suffer from this illness. Although there is also food and metal allergy, the symptoms of most are caused by the pollens of plants. Among these plants ragweed, the allergen weed that can be found in the highest number, is the most dangerous one. Nevertheless, the Hungarian Defence Forces make every effort to weed the plant that makes the life of millions difficult on the plots of land managed by them.

Bochkor And The Dragon

The fighter pilot training of Gábor Bochkor continued on Monday in Kecskemét, at HDF 59th ‘Dezsõ Szentgyörgyi’ Aviation Base. The popular radio host familiarized himself with the L–39 Albatros fighter plane, the type he will be flying on 14-15 August.

Bochkor In Boots

Gábor Bochkor joined the army: he presented himself at the HDF Central Training Base (MH KKB) Szentendre on Monday morning. The popular radio presenter was received at the barracks gate by Major General (Eng.) Dr. János Isaszegi, commander of MH KKB. Honvedelem.hu accompanied Bocsi during his day at Szentendre, who was familiarizing himself with the home phase of the fighter-pilots’ training.

Gábor Bochkor Conquered The Sky

‘Summerfest’ With Soldiers

It is a tradition dating back more than a decade in Tata that on the weekend nearest to the summer solstice a ‘summerfest’ is organized by the shore of Öreg-tó (Old Lake). The corps of the Hungarian Defence Forces deployed in the city, ’György Klapka’ Infantry Brigade participates in the Festival of Water, Music and Flowers almost every year.

“I’ll Never Forget That Sight As Long As I Live”

A ‘mottled’ two-seat civilian aircraft is an unusual spectacle at the Szolnok military airfield, among camouflage painted transport and combat helicopters and training aircraft. But this summer it is an everyday picture at ‘József Ittebei Kis’ Helicopter Base. At least it will be until mid-August, since the Hungarian Defence Forces organize their traditional career orientation aviation camp at this site. And the ZLIN-42, shining with red and yellow, is one of the aircraft used by the camp.

Kossuth Square Was Swarming With Soldiers

The citizens of Debrecen have never seen anything like this before: soldiers breaking tiles and roof-slats on each other, in front of the main church. Meanwhile, from the loudspeaker mounted on the jeep nearby rock music rattles. Next to the tram tracks a checkpoint is operated by the soldiers in uniform and with painted faces. ”Bandi Was A Balanced, Calm Guy”

One of the pilots of the L–39 Albatros fighter that crashed near Fehérgyarmat was Lieutenant Colonel András Janicsek. The colleagues loved working with the pilot, who deceased at the age of 43, as he was known to be an even-tempered and balanced person.
