Battalion Cohesion Training

In closing the first week of NATO Exercise “Iron Sword 2014”, the Hungarians participated in a battalion-level training event on the training range near Pabrade, where they joined British, US, Lithuanian and German troops to form the “Iron” Infantry Battle Group.

Exercises Start in Lithuania

The Hungarian troops participating in NATO Exercise Iron Sword 2014 have started executing their tasks. Around 2,500 troops from nine NATO countries are participating in the multinational exercise which is taking place in the General Silvestras Žukauskas Training Range near Pabrade, Lithuania.

Closing Exercise in Serbia

Preparing for the CREVAL

On June 26 a conference was organized on the readiness level of the battalion-sized HDF Infantry Battle Group (IBG) – a unit preparing for a NATO CREVAL process due this year – in the Hódmezővásárhely garrison of the HDF 5th ‘Bocskai István’ Infantry Brigade. The core of the IBG is drawn from the 62nd infantry battalion of the brigade.

NATO Delegation Visits Bocskai Brigade
