German Fighters Fly in Kecskemét

Three German Tornado fighters performed the navigation tasks of long-distance cross-country flight between August 7 and 11 at the HDF 59th “Dezső Szentgyörgyi" Air Base in Kecskemét. The combat aircraft arrived from the Schleswig-Jagel Air Base of the German Air Force.
The Hungarian Gripens have already been to Germany twice in this year. In May (JAWTEX 2014), they practiced joint air warfare, while in June (TIGER MEET 2014) tactical air command and control, among others with the German pilots.
