The first clinical demonstration unit in Hungary has been inaugurated in the Military Hospital
Speaking about the Military Hospital, he said that the “set of problems" the Ministry of Defence had inherited in 2010 had covered the whole spectrum of the disaster brought by the health care policy of previous left-wing governments. “We had to transform it radically, using the very modest financial means available to us, while providing patient care and preserving the human and professional values that had accumulated here", the Minister pointed out.
Under the present leadership, the output of the hospital has expanded by 17 per cent, and the deficit it had on taking over the institution has been reduced by half. According to Csaba Hende, the complete renewal of the hospital is still under way, but the most difficult steps have already been taken.
Miklós Szócska stressed that simulating real-world situations is very important in medical training. The Minister of State for Health thanked the Military Hospital for having been the first to assume a role in creating the “skill labor", and noted that in rebuilding the institution, they had paid special attention to make sure that the new method is practice-centered, provides health care professionals with useful and practical knowledge and brings training back where the practice is being done.

Brig.-Gen. The entire project cost HUF 62 million, of which HUF 32 million was provided by MoD ED Co. and 15 million by the HDF Medical Center. GYEMSZI contributed HUF 15 million to the investment.
