Military Observers in the Air

After the take-off, the observer teams conducted an aerial survey of the aircraft exhibited at the Szolnok aviation museum, then, while flying over Tiszapüspöki, they looked at the remains of an earlier forest fire and the damage caused by it. In the airspace of Besenyszög and Jászladány, they gathered information on the events occurring in these villages.

Railway is an important line of supply, so while flying above the north-western part of Újszász, the students were tasked to observe the condition of the railway crossing, and then, while flying above the northern part of Szolnok, they observed the condition of the Malomszögi Bridge over River Zagyva.

These aerial observations will play an important role in the culmination exercise (CULEX) to be held later, where the tasks will focus on those fields that the students saw and reconnoitered from the air.
