Minister of Defence Receives Slovak Military Intelligence and Counterintelligence Delegation

On 20 March in Budapest, Minister of Defence Dr. István Simicskó received, on a courtesy call, a delegation of leaders of the Slovak Military Intelligence and Counterintelligence – Director of Military Intelligence and Counterintelligence Lt.-Gen. Ján Balciar as well as Col. Jaroslav Polák and Col. Milan Jacko.

The Slovak delegation arrived in Hungary for a professional visit at the invitation of Lt.-Gen. József Kovács, Director-General, Military National Security Service.

As part of the program in Hungary, during the courtesy call – in recognition of their sustained and dedicated efforts in the interest of strengthening Slovak–Hungarian military-to-military relations and implementing joint professional tasks – Minister of Defence Dr. István Simicskó presented the “Alliance" Medal of Merit to Lt.-Gen. Ján Balciar, and the gold grade of the Medal of Service to Col. Jaroslav Polák.
