They Gave Their Lives for their Country

“The soldiers fought far from their homes, carried out their duties, and finally gave their lives for their country", the Minister said at the ceremony held in honor of the troops of the British Commonwealth of Nations who died in Hungary during the war. He noted that most of those resting there were pilots. He added that although Hungary and Great Britain were at war with each other in the Second World War, they are now allies and can count on each other.
Among others, the British, Polish, Belgian and French ambassadors were also in attendance at the commemoration.
