Szöveg: Lt. Andrea Demény | 2015. október 23. 14:35The computer assisted/command post exercise (CAX-CPX) has started on Exercise Brave Warrior 2015.
The command group and headquarters of the HDF 25th “György Klapka" Infantry Brigade participating in the Brave Warrior 2015 exercise has become multinational by now. Several American, Hungarian, Romanian, Croatian, Slovak, Slovenian and Ukrainian staff officers have been integrated into its command elements. Furthermore, it has been assigned the designated personnel of the Slovenian 132nd Mountain Regiment, which is operating in the area of its own country.
All of the above have been done in the interest of planning, organizing and commanding the fight of the sub-units jointly in a multinational headquarters, under a simulated scenario created in accordance with NATO’s Article 5.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the CAX-CPX, Brig.-Gen. Gábor Horváth, the commander of the HDF 25th “György Klapka" Infantry Brigade greeted the participants. In what followed, acting upon an earlier issued OPORD, the designated personnel sketched the tactical situation on a map for each sub-unit, and modeled the combat actions to be carried out in the course of the fight.
During the next few days, the command elements of the brigade will have to deal with situations that may occur in live combat. The headquarters staff is tasked with giving effective responses to events of the operational situation, share the necessary information and produce the related documentation.
