At the discussions, Minister of Defence Csaba Hende emphasized that multinational cooperation projects are a priority for Hungary in the field of capability development. The Minister stated that according to its possibilities and interests, Hungary would like to make increasingly active contributions to the EDA activities and their success in the future, in order to be able to exploit their potentials. Minister Hende spoke with satisfaction about the Agency’s goal of promoting European cooperation besides the fragmented national efforts.

Jorge Domecq emphasized that “EDA is an instrument at the service of Member States. The Agency can facilitate bilateral, regional or European-wide defence cooperation depending on the priorities of Member States. Hungary’s active involvement in the Agency’s work (…) is much appreciated." He stated that EDA encourages Hungary’s further active role in the projects of the Agency and that the Agency continues to support research and development as well as cooperation in the field of military equipment, and makes further efforts to strengthen a competitive European defence market.
