Cleveland Heroes Run
Szöveg: SFC Samuel Livingston | 2009. szeptember 24. 10:36Seventeen members of the Hungarian and US Operational Mentor Liaison Team Orthos completed a five mile charity run this morning at Camp Kaylaghay, Afghanistan. The race kicked off promptly at 0600 Sunday morning in conjunction with the Cleveland Heroes Run held in Cleveland, Ohio later in the day.
The race in Ohio is touted as “Cleveland’s most scenic and challenging five mile race." Proceeds from the event benefit the West Park Cleveland Police and Firefighters Memorial Fund. More importantly, the race honors the memory of Cleveland’s fallen heroes and their families. While the scenery here at Kelagai are a little less desirable than the metro-park trails in Ohio or running around the big lake in Tata, all runners were up to the challenge and enjoyed the early morning physical training session.
