The mission of the fifth rotation of the HDF KFOR contingent – which is currently deployed in the area of operations – is nearing completion, so Maj.-Gen. Erhard Drews, the commander of KFOR paid an informal visit to Camp Slim Lines, Pristina on February 8, where he met the leaders of the Hungarian contingent.

The major-general said thanks for the work done by the Hungarian troops. He noted that immediately after his assuming the commander’s position in September, he had opportunity to learn about the duties of the Hungarian forces declared to the KFOR Tactical Reserve Maneuver (KTM) battalion. He praised the job done by the Hungarian soldiers in the operations, their brave and disciplined attitude, adding that the next rotation of the mission will probably have similar tasks as the one that has served over the last six months.

At the meeting, on behalf of the contingent Lt.-Col. Miklós Tajti, the commander of the fifth rotation of the HDF KFOR contingent gave a present to the Commander of KFOR, who presented the troops of the KTM with tokens of appreciation.
