Commander’s Visit

Gen. Hannemann congratulated the zone commander on the results achieved during the military operations conducted in the northern provinces of Afghanistan over the last few weeks. He praised the role of the ABP in fighting the insurgents and made special mention of the difficulties of combat due to the geography of the area.

In what followed, the participants of the meeting discussed the importance of training in counter-insurgency operations. Gen. Haydari thanked the TAAC-N commander for the work done by the Hungarian advisory team in the field of training and the jointly achieved results which help raise the professional and training standards of the Afghan Border Police as a force fighting in the region.
