Szöveg: Maj. Julianna Horváth Szendyné | 2017. október 16. 5:06On 9–10 October Maj.-Gen. Mladen Fuzul, the Commander of the Support Command of the Croatian Armed Forces paid an official visit to the HDF Logistic Centre in Budapest.
Maj.-Gen. Mladen Fuzul arrived in Hungary at the invitation of Brig.-Gen. István Baráth, the Commander of the HDF Logistic Centre. The two logistic leaders discussed possible areas of logistic cooperation between their armed forces. They agreed that cooperation must be expanded in all possible areas, so their discussions focused on exploring potential areas for practical cooperation.
The Croatian delegation visited Kecskemét, where besides receiving information, its members had opportunity to see in practice the repair and maintenance of the aircraft of the Hungarian Defence Forces. During the day they were given presentations on the workings of the Hetényegyháza base of the HDF Material Supply Depot Centre and saw the dressmaker’s shop of the MoD Electronics, Logistics and Property Management Ltd (MoD ED Co). In the closing part of their program, the guests had a glimpse into the life of the Armament Test Department of the HDF Logistic Centre in Táborfalva.
An exciting moment of the visit was when the Croatian general and his delegation tried out the Hungarian-built Gepárd M1 anti-materiel rifle.
The partners will continue the discussions on cooperation in Zagreb next year.
