Dr. Csaba Hende Conducted Negotiations in China about the Invigoration of the Hungarian-Chinese Defence Cooperation

The Head of the Hungarian Defence Portfolio was welcomed with military honours in Beijing, where such high-level military delegation has not visited for decades. According to the report, the Chinese Minister expressed his appreciation over Hungary’s adherence to the one-China policy, and said that China regards Hungary as China’s good friend and important partner in the European Union. Chang said that it is in the common interests of the two countries to strengthen friendly exchanges between the two armed forces, and promote a sound, sustained development of the military relations.

On behalf of Hungary Dr. Csaba Hende expressed his readiness for the future comprehensive relationship building, and for the cooperation in the area of international peacekeeping missions and between the two armed forces. General Xu Qiliang, vice chairman of the Central Military Commission also met with Dr. Hende Csaba and his delegation.
Dr. Csaba Hende will continue his official program in China on Monday.
