Eleventh Rotation Arrives in Kosovo
Szöveg: Lt. Andor Gyeginszky | 2014. augusztus 16. 10:31More than 300 Hungarian soldiers have arrived in Kosovo in three phases during a single week to start their six-month tour of duty abroad. Acting on the request of NATO, the Hungarian Defence Forces are increasing their presence in the region by around 120 more personnel in the incoming rotation.
Apart from Camp Slim Lines, the Hungarian flag is now also flying in Camp Novo Selo
After an almost 15-hour travel, the soldiers starting their mission were welcomed by Lt.-Col. Győző Preininger, contingent commander in Camp Slim Lines, Pristina.

After the mandatory briefings, everybody received their personalized gears and occupied their billeting areas. With this, the Hungarian soldiers are now in charge of the camp which will be their home and workplace in the coming months.
In order to maintain their excellent physical condition, the soldiers in Camp Slim Line can use the gym which meets all requirements
After a short acclimatization, the soldiers receive their special equipment and already in this week, they are going to start various in-theatre training programs in order to reach full operational capability.

Following the days of the handover-takeover process, the 11th rotation of the HDF KFOR Contingent continues the work of previous rotations in Kosovo, complemented with several new tasks.
