EUFOR Commemorates Soldiers Who Lost their Lives in Missions

Dezső Hajós, Volunteer Operational Reservist | 2015. november 9. 10:42On 1st November a requiem Mass was celebrated in the cathedral of Sarajevo and a commemoration was held in Camp Butmir in memory of the soldiers who lost their lives during peacekeeping missions in Bosnia-Herzegovina, while serving with IFOR, SFOR and EUFOR.
On the occasion of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day, EUFOR Commander Maj.-Gen. Johann Luif gave a speech in the memorial park at the Sarajevo base, and then the representatives of EUFOR and the NATO HQ Sarajevo placed the flowers of remembrance as well.
