On Friday, January 27 Lt.-Col. The members of the Regiment have deployed with every HUN PRT contingent since the first rotation, so this is the 12th time they are tasked with providing Force Protection EOD service for the mission in Afghanistan. Initially only four EOD technicians deployed to the Asian country, while the 12th rotation is going to include a staff of ten in positions such as EOD cell commander, EOD technician, robot operator, K-9 dog handler and driver.

In his speech delivered at the staff meeting, Lt.-Col. Szilágyi thanked the EOD technicians for their work during the pre-deployment training program, also noting that they are to continue their tasks in the area of operations. The commander wished every success, strength and good health to the troops to deploy with the mission.
