From Dawn to Dawn
Szöveg: kormany.hu | 2012. július 4. 16:15The fifth rotation of the HDF National Support Element (HUN NSE-5) started its tour of duty in Afghanistan with some busy days. After the end of the transfer of authority process, on June 19 at dawn the personnel of the contingent “zeroed” the weapons in the area of operations with the support of the HDF Provincial Reconstruction Team (HUN PRT).
The HUN NSE-5 directed the return home of the fourth rotations of the Hungarian Defence Forces Operational Mentoring and Liaison Team (HUN OLMT-4) and the HDF National Support Element (HUN NSE-4). During three days of intensive work, the HUN NSE-5 checked the equipment of the leaving contingents and prepared it for airlift in several phases. On June 21 at dawn, when the aircraft took off with the homebound personnel aboard, the rising sun greeted the soldiers of the HUN NSE-5 who had just completed their first task in the area of operations.
