Under the agreement, the participating Allies will obtain an initial batch of PGMs intended for delivery between 2017 and 2019.
The underlying cooperation framework, which was conceived at the NATO Summit in Wales, offers Allies a cost-effective and flexible vehicle for addressing their air-to-ground PGM requirements.
A subsequent round of acquisition is anticipated to be launched in 2017. It will also incorporate Poland, which became the ninth member of this framework in October 2016.
