Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) visited Hungary

On Tuesday, 2nd July, Lieutenant General Ferenc Korom, the Commander of the Hungarian Defence Forces received Lieutenant General Hamad Mohamed Thani Al Rumaithi, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the UAE, who came for a two-day official visit to Hungary.

In the short, but meaningful meeting the parties exchanged information on the current state of their armed forces, the ongoing changes, with particular emphasis on the situation of the capability development efforts, and the results attained in the area of training.

During the discussions they agreed in the potential opportunities for further developing the military co-operation in the area of education and training and in the need to share experiences gained during the transformation of the defence forces.
