Meeting of the NATO Geospatial Requirements Working Group
Szöveg: Lt. Mónika Eszter Kovács | 2019. február 25. 16:52The ordinary session of the NATO Geospatial Requirements Working Group (GRWG) was held last week in the Stefánia Palace – Honvéd Cultural Centre.
The primary objective of the conference was the identification and the development of the short- and medium-term mapping tasks of NATO, which took place with the attendance of about 70 specialists from 25 countries and representing 16 NATO HQs and organisations.
In addition to the workshop meetings, the participants of the conference could learn about the history of the independent Hungarian military topography, and they could view publications from the works of the military map-makers celebrating the 100th anniversary of their establishment this year.
