Safety Transport – Exercise in Germany

The Hungarian soldiers’ preparation for the exercise has already begun in March in Kaposvár and Újdörögd. They carried out simulated peace operation convoy protection, language and radiocommunications preparations, too.

The Safety Transport exercise is arranged in Hungary and in Germany on a yearly rotating basis. The objective of the exercise for the troops of both countries is to learn each other’s fighting methods, to develop their interoperability, and to be prepared for joint task-execution. As the language of the exercise was English, the three weeks spent in Germany provided an excellent opportunity for the troops of both countries to improve their language skills.
