The first phase of the exercise contained special trainings led by the US communication officers. The soldiers participated in a driving-rollover training, acquired skills in infantry and mechanised convoy operations, in FIBUA, and thereafter they carried out and practiced team-building on platoon and then on company level together with the Georgian combat subunits and the US advisors.

Parallel with the practices, thanks to the successful contacts made, with the co-operation of the soldiers of the US Army 1-4 Infantry Battalion, they received instruction for small arms in service with the US Army (M9 Beretta pistol, M4A1 assault rifle, M240 machine gun, M107 Barret and M110 semi-automatic marksman rifles, M2 50.cal machine gun, MK19 40 mm grenade launcher, TOW anti-tank grenade launcher, and regular optical instruments).

During the collaboration they conducted joint night patrols, raids, and they had the opportunity for joint US-Hungarian live fire exercise (LIVEX) with pistols, assault rifles and machine guns. In the course of the shooting practice the principle of reciprocity prevailed: the Hungarian and the US instructors helped and were mentoring each other. In the last phase of the exercise, during the implementation, the tasks were carried out by the participants according to the pre-planned scenarios in the Georgian, US and Hungarian units. The officer cadets and NCO candidates were representing the “GREEN" allied forces; they operated their own base and operation centre, and took part in joint operations, where they could enrich their practical knowledge and experiences.

Upon completion of the training, the commander of the international exercise, Col. Thomas Armas, the Commander of the 43rd Georgian Infantry Battalion, and the leadership of the US „WARHOGS" team, supporting the exercise, expressed their satisfaction for the remarkable performance, task-execution and dedication of the officer cadets and the NCO candidates. These instruction exchanges are highly important for both parties, as in addition to acquiring knowledge of the military equipment, they have an opportunity for the exchange of experiences as well.
