The exercise was opened by the Czech director, Colonel Daniel Zlatnik. His Deputy, Colonel Witold Bartoszek, the representative of the host nation in his speech expressed his hope that the exercise was bound to succeed.

In the exercise civilians and soldiers will work together over the next two weeks: the main objective is interoperability, the implementation of logistic co-operation among nations, and the acquisition of the specific procedures on skill level. The Hungarian Defence Forces is represented in a number of professional fields: Hungarian soldiers will serve in the detachments responsible among others for fuel-supply, routes safety support, movement and transportation support, medical and health service support, as well as in the direction and support teams of the exercise.

As in previous years, the Hungarian Defence Forces were also involved in the preparations of the event, in the planning conferences: in 2013, as implementors, while in 2015 as the host nation of the exercise, the organiser of which is the Prague-based Multinational Logistics Co-ordination Centre (MLCC). It should be noted that after the host nation, our country is represented with the largest numbers in this joint task.

CL19 is unique in respect that the fictitious events, incidents, catastrophe situations are parts of the exercise, the response to which and the solution of which form part of the subunits’ tasks the same way, as the implementation of the real daily tasks, commands.
