Hungarian Soldiers Give Blood in Cyprus
Szöveg: UNFICYP HUNCON | 2015. június 8. 1:54The members of the Hungarian contingent of the UN Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) recently organized a blood donation to help a hospital in Famagusta. The Hungarian soldiers volunteered for the blood donation event.
The UN mission has always laid great emphasis on helping local residents. As a result, it organizes blood donations several times a year which is a great help to the Greek and Turkish hospitals in Cyprus.
Last year 70 personnel gave blood, and 50 have given so far in this year. Furthermore, an extraordinary blood donation was organized in the spring because a Greek Cypriot needed 0 RH negative blood for an urgent surgery.
