Kabul Air Wing Receives New Mi-17 Helicopters

Two Mi-17 helicopters are to remain with the KAW in addition to the one received earlier this month; the third will head to Kandahar. Once build up of these aircraft is completed, they will advance the KAW’s mission support capabilities as the Afghan National Security Forces prepare to take over the lead for security in Afghanistan.
