Medal Parade in Koulikoro
Szöveg: Lt.-Col. Péter Lukács | 2015. november 4. 9:00The work of the Hungarian–Portuguese sniper mentor team deployed with EUTM MALI is nearing completion. On this occasion, Lt.-Col. Rainald Hartmann, training chief, Koulikoro Training Centre (KTC) awarded EUTM medals to Lt. Ádám Balogh, SFC Gábor Deregi, SFC Sándor Kovács and SSgt. Norbert Kerekes.
The lieutenant-colonel praised the work of the team, since over the last six months, its members were actively involved in several training activities apart from mentoring the snipers of the Malian armed forces. Among others, they participated in training the Malian officer and NCO students and the attendees of the Company Commander Course as well.
Two members of the team, Lt. Ádám Balogh and SSgt. Norbert Kerekes have recently participated in a qualifying target practice held by the German contingent. During the two-day marksmanship practice, the participants used the G36 assault rifles and HK P8 pistols of the German armed forces to execute firing tasks. Both Hungarians achieved gold qualification.
