Memorial Run for the 13th Time

By the traditions of earlier years, the memorial race began with laying wreaths at the Hungarian–Croatian Memorial Column of Friendship in Okučani. In what followed, the Hungarian and the Croatian runners and the first relay team of the cyclists accompanying them set out to cover the distance between Okučani and Barcs.

Next morning the participants started from the building of the Barcs Local Government heading towards Taszár, where they arrived in the afternoon hours. The program ended with a wreath-laying ceremony at the Memorial Column in Taszár, and the festive handover of commemorative medals.

On the Memorial Run the Veszprém Honvéd Sports Association was represented with seven athletes, the Honvéd Arrabona Sports Association with eight ones and the Taszár Honvéd Sports Association with ten runners and six cyclists.
