New Senior National Representative in Afghanistan

As head of the commander’s office at the HDF Medical Center, Col. Levente Wéber has extensive experience in international affairs. He has been chosen to fill this important position on account of his outstanding service and activity so far.

In addition to the SNR’s responsibilities, Col. Wéber has further duties in the theatre as chief advisor to the Afghan National Civil Order Police (ANCOP).

This is not Colonel Wéber’s first foreign mission – he has already served in Sarajevo (SFOR), Baghdad (NTM-I) and Madrid (CC-Land HQ Madrid). The present one is his second tour of duty in the Afghanistan theatre. In 2013, he was posted to the ISAF Regional Command North (RC-N) as a staff officer responsible for the evaluation and development of the Afghan armed forces.
