Preparing for Validation Exercise in Krakow
Szöveg: honvedelem.hu | 2015. november 7. 10:13The Battle Staff Training (BST) “Autumn Challenge 15” took place in Krakow, Poland between 27–30 October to prepare the headquarters of the V4 European Union Battle Group (V4 EUBG), which will be on standby from January 2016.
The participants of the exercise analyzed the current security situation which is of crucial importance to Europe. In accordance with the basic standards of operational planning, they prepared for responding to challenges of potential crisis situations and those of getting ready for operational deployment.
The next phase of the preparation will be the certification exercise “Common Challenge 15", which is also to be held at the Operations Centre of the Polish army in Krakow in the second half of November, with the goal of validating the readiness of the operation headquarters of the EU Battle Group.
