At the invitation of Brig.-Gen. István Baráth, the commander of the HDF Logistic Centre, the deputy commander of the Bundeswehr logistic command (Logistikkommando der Bundeswehr) had paid a visit to Hungary in March. At their meeting, the two delegations had discussed issues of cooperation in military logistic and the Exercise Safety Fuel – 2014, which is to be held between June 30 and July 11 on the Putlos base of the Bundeswehr.

At Hetényegyháza, the main objective in the first phase of training for the exercise was to have the participants brush up their knowledge and let them practice fielding, operating, disassembling and maintaining a BFI – using all the skills they have acquired on similar exercises over the last two years.
