Santa Claus Has Brought the Third Place
Szöveg: honvedelem.hu | 2012. december 20. 10:01The 32nd FAI World Parachuting Championship was recently organized in Dubai. Around 200 parachutists of 39 nations participated in the competition.
Led by Col. Zoltán Bárány, the Hungarian parachute team – composed of WO (Ret.) István Asztalos, WO Tamás Varga, Capt. (Ret.) Attila Réczi and SFC László Orsy – came in third after Slovenia and Russia. The Hungarian competitors are the members of the Szolnok Military Parachuting Sports Club and the soldiers of the HDF 86th Szolnok Helicopter Base.
Results of individual accuracy landing:
- 4th place – WO Tamás Varga (8 cms)
- 10th place – Capt. Gábor Kollár (10 cms)
- 16th place – Attila Réczi (11 cms)
- 16th place – István Asztalos (11 cms)
- 61st place – László Orsy (16 cms)
Results of junior individual accuracy landing:
8th place – Cpl. Szabolcs Gál (16 cms)
- 18th place – Cpl. Roland Olenyik (23 cms)
