Strategic Dialogue Starts Between Hungarian and Chinese Armed Forces
Szöveg: MoD Press Department | 2014. augusztus 13. 9:00On his visit to China in November 2013, Minister of Defence Csaba Hende agreed with his counterpart on starting a strategic dialogue between the Hungarian and the Chinese armed forces. As the first event of this annual dialogue, a Chinese delegation headed by Lt.-Gen. Wang Guanzhong, Deputy Chief, General Staff Department, People’s Liberation Army paid a visit to Budapest on August 9, 2014.

On Monday, August 11 the delegation staying in Hungary was received by Péter Siklósi, Deputy State Secretary for Defence Policy and Planning of the Ministry of Defence.

The partners held a discussion on the relations between the two armed forces and the scope of their further development, and informed each other about their security environment and the related international standpoint.

Following today’s discussion, Lt.-Gen. Wang Guanzhong and Deputy State Secretary Péter Siklósi both spoke highly of the start of the Hungarian–Chinese strategic dialogue.
