Minister of Defence inspects construction of temporary border barrier

Adjutant General of Ohio National Guard Visits Hungary

Chinese–Hungarian Defence Strategy Dialogue

Headed by Péter Siklósi, Deputy State Secretary for Defence Policy and Planning, Ministry of Defence, a Hungarian delegation visited the People’s Republic of China between 21st and 23rd September to participate in the second meeting of the annual strategic dialogue program of the two Ministries of Defence. The first meeting was held in Hungary in 2014.

Strategic Dialogue Starts Between Hungarian and Chinese Armed Forces

On his visit to China in November 2013, Minister of Defence Csaba Hende agreed with his counterpart on starting a strategic dialogue between the Hungarian and the Chinese armed forces. As the first event of this annual dialogue, a Chinese delegation headed by Lt.-Gen. Wang Guanzhong, Deputy Chief, General Staff Department, People’s Liberation Army paid a visit to Budapest on August 9, 2014.
